The intangibles that make a difference.
We believe the best investments aren't only about numbers.
They’re about people, trust, and shared commitment. Our philosophy is simple: treat people the way we want to be treated, do what we say we’ll do, and leave every company better than we found it.
Treating others as we’d want to be treated. Doing what we say we’re going to do. Bad news should travel faster than good news. Rejecting complacency and striving for more.
Our history as entrepreneurs shapes how we partner today.
We started without a fund, backing businesses we believed in and figuring out what it really took to create value alongside management teams. Those early deals taught us more than any playbook could.
As our conviction grew, we formalized our approach. We raised dedicated capital and built a team around the same thesis we’d been executing since day one. The strategy didn’t change. Our capacity to pursue it did.
Four funds later, we’re still the same investors at our core — hands-on, thesis-driven, and genuinely committed to the founders and management teams we back. But how we work has evolved considerably. From how we source and evaluate opportunities to how we use data, analytics, and AI to create value, we’re constantly refining what it means to be a better investor and a better partner to the businesses we back.
Empowering women across departments and roles.
Founded in 2022, our Women in Leadership program brings together team members across Rotunda and our portfolio and creates space for collaboration, growth, and lasting impact.
Through active involvement in organizations like the Women’s Association of Venture Equity (WAVE) and the Private Equity CFO Association (PECFOA), we stay connected to the broader community of women in private equity and alternative assets.
Across our portfolio, we’re proud to support community-driven initiatives like American Equipment’s Women in Cranes, Scales & Rigging (WCSR). What began as a casual gathering has evolved into a 60+ member network that fosters connection, leadership development, and a strong support system for women across the cranes, scales, and rigging industry.
We can talk about values all day, but what matters is how we show up. Here's what working with Rotunda actually feels like.
We’ll tell you what we think, even when it’s uncomfortable. Sugarcoating problems doesn’t solve them.
The partners you meet during diligence are the same partners who’ll be in the room with you five years later.
You know your business better than we do. Our job is to understand what you’ve built before suggesting what to evolve.
We hold ourselves to the same standards we expect from management teams. If we commit to something and don’t deliver, call us out.
