Rotunda applies a thematic, sector-focused approach to investing across value-added distribution, asset-light logistics and industrial and business services. This thematic approach to investing identifies sub-sectors and business models where the firm has expertise and utilizes repeatable processes to prioritize, screen, and cultivate proactive relationships with companies we believe to be exceptional. Our investment strategy aims to leverage our extensive sector knowledge and experience to accelerate growth from day one of the investment.
Central to that process are our operating executives – industry veterans with deep sector expertise, vast and relevant networks, and real boots-on-the-ground experience. They help us develop and pressure-test each thesis including identifying TAM expansion opportunities and developing add-on target lists. Often, they personally invest and join as board members to advise the management team on strategic direction.
